Allana Ferguson bio

Allana played in Australia during Rugby Sevens, but then knee injuries caused her to go through a number of seasons without playing before switching to the Rugby League. Allana was the first woman to play in a match in the 2015 season of rugby league and played in the game for New South Wales in a match against Queensland. Allana is also a frequent radio personality, appearing regularly with 2GB's Continuous Call Team. Allana has also earned a teaching degree. Allana Ferguson holds the rare privilege of being a representative of Australia in three sports - rugby sevens along with touch and rugby league. Jillaroos' superstar Allana Ferguson was forced to bring an early end to her rugby league professional career following the tear of her ACL a fourth time. Ferguson has already injured ligaments on her knee between 15 and 17, but after the fourth tear and the final tear, there was no hope for the 25-year-old. Ferguson played the role of JILLAROOS team's player. The decision to leave was due to her 4th ACL left knee injury. Ferguson suffered an ACL injury last November while in training.
